National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week 2016 was held from November 7-13 2016. The week aims to raise awareness about cervical cancer and encourage Australians to engage in the conversation about cervical health. As well as creating conversation, funds from the week went towards our CerviCAN Support Program. In 2017, our focus was to raise funds for the appointment of a Cervical Cancer Support Coordinator to provide support for Australian women and families affected by cervical cancer.
What’s happened in Awareness Week 2016?
ACCF’s National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week has grown to include fundraising and awareness events Australia wide.
The 2016 National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, hit the road!
ACCF took the Cervical Cancer Awareness Program for Schools (CCAPs) to regions we haven’t been able to reach before! During the week ACCF headed out to schools and community groups to talk to them about HPV and cervical cancer prevention.
