Thank you to everyone who was involved in National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week 2019. The Week launched with an event like no other on Sunday November 10. 35 women, many of whom have been affected by cervical cancer, came together in front of the iconic Bondi Pavilion, to make a stand against cervical cancer.
Australia is on track to be the first country in the world to eliminate cervical cancer by 2035, but only if we aren’t complacent and women are on top of their cervical health. These Australian women, came together to show us that this is possible.
This year, our focus for the week aligned with the key message in our #cerFIX2035 campaign that it is just 5 minutes of your time for 5 years peace of mind, whilst asking the most important question of all: Are you up-to-date?
Thank you for getting involved and showing your support this November so we can continue the important work we do in helping women and families impacted by cervical cancer. Our mission at ACCF is to see cervical cancer eliminated in Australia by 2035, but we can’t achieve this alone. The funds you raised will ensure we are doing all that we can to support, educate & protect the women of Australia as well as our sisters in neighbouring countries like Nepal and Bhutan.
How can I get involved?
