Over three days, you’ll trek through verdant pastures and across trout-filled rivers. You’ll visit friendly villages and discover the peaceful sanctity of Buddhist temples. By night, you’ll camp under a blanket of stars and fall asleep to the chorus of the rural Bhutanese countryside.
You’ll explore Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, a city delightfully balancing between modernism and conservatism. Watch in awe as crimson-robed monks seemingly glide along pot-holed pavements. Spin the prayer wheels of Clock-tower Square and enjoy the spectacle of white-gloved policeman directing traffic in a city with no traffic lights.
Uncover the beauty of Paro on the banks of the Pa Chhu. Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) and immerse yourself in the fables and history of this significant site. Relax and listen to prayer flags flapping in the wind and enjoy the magical atmosphere of this incredible location.
