Donating to ACCF in memory of a family member or friend that has passed away is a meaningful way to honour them.
You can make a In Memoriam donation in several ways:
Next of kin, family and friends can request donations in memory at a funeral service
Requesting donations in lieu of flowers at the funeral service of your loved one allows family, friends and guests to give a meaningful gift to the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation.
Below is some suggested wording to include in the funeral notice, letting your guests know of your wishes.
“In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1008 Fortitude Valley QLD 4006. Please include your name and postal address so that ACCF can send you a receipt”.
We will send a tax deductible receipt to every person who makes a donation in memory at the funeral service, and we will send you, or the nominated next of kin, a summary of everyone that has made a donation in memory.
Create an online memorial or tribute page to share memories about their loved one.
Using ACCF’s In Memoriam fundraising page, you can create an online memorial or tribute page to facilitate donations from friends and family in memory of your loved one.
By choosing to give a donation in memory, you are enabling the legacy of someone you love to help others in need. With Everyday Hero you are able to upload photos, stories and videos of your loved one and allow people to leave messages of support whilst donating.
