Join ACCF to Bhutan

Regretfully, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, we will be unable to travel to Bhutan in November, 2020 as we had planned to. If you are interested in a future trip to Bhutan, please let us know by emailing us here. 

We’ll let you know as soon as it is safe to visit our Bhutan friends again.

• Visit local schools and meet the girls that ACCF’s program has vaccinated
• Trekkers challenge themselves on the ‘Druk Path Trek’; trekking through spectacular, ancient valleys in the shadow of snow-capped mountains

Fundraising Challenge

The fundraising target is usually set at around $2000 for each participant.  Our Fundraising Manager and assistant Fundraising Guru will help you set up your fundraising page and give you lots of support and ideas to get you started.  We keep the target pretty moderate, and we find that most people surpass their goals.  Your fundraising will  help to vaccinate hundreds of girls with the cervical cancer vaccine!  On behalf of them – thank you.

What is an ACCF Adventure Challenge?

An ACCF Adventure Challenge takes you to an amazing location in a country like Nepal or Bhutan.

The adventure speaks for itself – it may be trekking in the remote mountains of Nepal or climbing up to Tiger’s Nest in Bhutan. One thing is for sure, you’ll be visiting our project partners on the ground, who are all working towards one goal: the elimination of cervical cancer!

The challenge has a fundraising aspect – you’ll be using your time, energy and creative efforts to raise much needed funds to screen women and vaccinate girls in places like Nepal, Bhutan or other remote destinations where ACCF supports cervical cancer vaccination and screening programs. Depending on the need you might get to do some hands on painting or light construction work at one of our ACCF supported clinics.

There are no particular skill requirements, only the desire and motivation to make a difference in the lives of girls and women in developing countries.
