Join ACCF’s Bhutan Black Necked Crane Festival

November 2020

The Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan is truly one of the most inspiring and beautiful places on earth and is a bucket-list destination for many.  Our next trip to Bhutan departs in November 2020, to celebrate the 10 year anniversary since ACCF’s Cervical Cancer Prevention Program commenced in Bhutan.  This year, we are offering a fully inclusive 10 day trip with the highlight of experiencing the Black Necked Crane Festival.  There’s nothing like a Bhutanese Festival, it is absolutely magical!  If trekking is your thing, you can then stay on for the Druk Path trek.

Flying into Paro, you’ll experience the breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks as you descend into this remote, magical kingdom. ACCF will introduce you to the beauty of Bhutan and you will experience first-hand the wonderful work ACCF is doing in this amazing kingdom. To register your interest in ACCF’s Bhutan 2020 Adventure, click here or call Julie Weston on 07 3177 1099.

What is an ACCF Adventure Challenge?

An ACCF Adventure Challenge takes you to an amazing location in a country like Nepal or Bhutan.

The adventure speaks for itself – it may be trekking in the remote mountains of Nepal or climbing up to Tiger’s Nest in Bhutan. One thing is for sure, you’ll be visiting our project partners on the ground, who are all working towards one goal: the elimination of cervical cancer!

The challenge has a fundraising aspect – you’ll be using your time, energy and creative efforts to raise much needed funds to screen women and vaccinate girls in places like Nepal, Bhutan or other remote destinations where ACCF supports cervical cancer vaccination and screening programs. Depending on the need you might get to do some hands on painting or light construction work at one of our ACCF supported clinics.

There are no particular skill requirements, only the desire and motivation to make a difference in the lives of girls and women in developing countries.

Each adventure challenge is unique and they are all exciting and rewarding – what are you waiting for, sign up for an adventure challenge today! Please see below other destinations:
