“Cervical cancer should be an entirely preventable disease.”
- Professor Ian Frazer AC, scientific advisor to the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation
Why is it that every year more than 270,000 women around the world die from this almost entirely preventable disease?
At ACCF, we’re on a big mission: to see the end of cervical cancer both in Australia and across the globe.
But we can’t do this alone! We need your support to help prevent cervical cancer and reduce its impact. You can make a tax-deductible cancer donation in Australia or become a regular donor by visiting our Donate page or scroll below for more ways to help!
ACCF is independently funded, and we don’t receive any ongoing government funding. We’re a registered charitable and not-for-profit organisation and depend on the generous donations and fundraising endeavours of our supporters. Here are some fundraising ideas from our incredible supporters.
ACCF’s annual Giving Day is a wonderful opportunity to see your donation double! On the day, all donations are doubled by our generous corporate supporters. For example, $20 becomes $40, $100 becomes $200, the benefits just keep multiplying. Donors see their contribution double before their eyes and corporate supporters get that feel good corporate responsibility vibe. It’s a win/win situation!
You can donate every pay-day, it’s so simple, just ask your HR/Payroll team to deduct your donation from your pay. You’ll feel great that you’re supporting a wonderful cause, and you enjoy the tax benefits immediately. Businesses can let their employees know that they support workplace giving and ACCF is their charity of choice. For more information, contact us.
Education and awareness surrounding cervix health, cervical cancer, HPV vaccination, the cervical screening test and the national screening program are vital in reducing the number of incidences and deaths worldwide. If you’d like to get involved in our awareness campaigns or education programs, visit Cervical Cancer Awareness Week or HPV & Me Awareness Program for Schools or contact us.
Have you been diagnosed with cervical cancer or cervical abnormalities? You can now read stories from The Faces of Cervical Cancer or contact us to share your story.
There are many ways and benefits to partnering with the Foundation. From pro bono work to sponsorships, there’s no partnership too big or too small. If you or your organisation want to get involved, please contact the ACCF team. Meet our current partners.
